  • Description of Services: The Elder Abuse an Neglect Hotline responds to reports of alleged abuse, neglect or financial exploitation of persons 60 years of age or older and disabled adults between age 18 and 59.  The program provides investigation, intervention, and follow-ups services to victims and also stresses the mentally competent adults right to make their own decisions.

  • Description of Services: Legal Advocates for Abused Women is a non-profit dedicated to helping victims of abuse in times of crisis who partners with law enforcement and the courts.   • Description of Services: The Sexual Assault Victims Care Unit (SAV-U) provides services to elderly, adult, and child victims of sexual assault/abuse and their significant others. The services include: 24 hour crisis intervention, 24 hour medical advocacy to provide information and support during evidence collection at local hospitals, legal advocacy at police departments and court proceedings and short and long term counseling to facilitate the process of healing and recovery. Community education and professional trainings are available upon request. All services are provided free of charge.
