The usual
Aldactazide dosage is 100 mg each of spironolactone and
hydrochlorothiazide daily, taken as a single or divided dose. Your
dosage of Aldactazide may range from 25 mg to 200 mg of each
ingredient daily, depending upon the needs of the individual.
High blood
pressure
The usual
Aldactazide dosage is 50 mg to 100 mg of both hydrochlorothiazide and
spironolactone daily in single or divided doses.
Aldactazide dosage
for children:
The common dosage
of Aldactazide is 0.75 mg to 1.5 mg of spironolactone for each pound
of your child’s body weight.
Overdosage of
Aldactazide:
Any medications
taken in excess of the recommended amounts can have serious
consequences. You should seek medical attention immediately if you
suspect an overdose.
Symptoms of Aldactazide overdose may include the following:
Confusion,
diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, patchy raised skin rash, and
vomiting
How you should
take your dosage of Aldactazide?
You should take
your Aldactazide dosage exactly as prescribed. You should not stop
Aldactazide abruptly as this may make your condition worsen
If you miss your Aldactazide dosage….
You should take it
as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose,
skip the one you miss, and return to your regular dosage schedule.
Never take two doses of Aldactazide at the same time.
Aldactazide should
always be stored at room temperature.
