an interfaith volunteer organization that provides programs

services for older adults. Our goal is to help seniors stay vital

independent. We are neighbors helping neighbors. For all
seniors we wlcome volunteers and on many Fridays we hold
enriching classes about engaging and enlightening subjects, we
offer day trips and a resource and referral service. For those
seniors in our service area we offer medical transportation,
minor home repair and seasonal yard clean up.

Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA)
coordinates the Silver Haired Legislature (SHL). The SHL is the
group of seniors elected to represent and advocate on behalf of
seniors living in the City of St. Louis. The SHL annually travels
to
Jefferson City for an advocacy day and regularly writes letters
and
calls their legislators.
